(1)Leblon - Must of the rich people live there, there's the beach, there's a shopping center and lots of restaurants...
(2)Ipanema- seems be like Leblon but a little more of Night life
(3)Jardim Botânico
(4)lagoa - there's a big lagoon... hahaa

In Fact the 'south zone' is the best zone of the city and that includes all the places I said before and more lots others

The other guys said that Barra is good...
You May find a good house there but it's too far from the others neighboorhoods and you have to take the car for everything

The rich ones and the poor in Rio de Janeiro live in the same neighborhood.
The rich ones live between the sea and the mountain covered by the Atlantic forest.
However the poor spent a long time of trip to the work, then the poor began to build house in the forest and more and more poor went to live in the forests mountains. and there the slums appeared beside the millionaires' houses.
