Bogota. If you go to Colombia going to the capital is a must. Lots of things to see there.

The Atlantic Coast. Beautiful beaches. Cartagena, Santa Marta, and other beaches that are breathtaking.

San andres: An island in the Caribbean.

Medellin, Cali, Pereira (the coffee region)..

There are a lot of places to visit in Colombia.

Most answers hit the usual spots. Also try Catedral de Sal near Bogota (Zipaquira about 50km away) and the Gold Museum in the capital.

Also try Villa De Leyva north of Bogota, but it has a dramatically different climate since it is much lower in elevation.

Personnaly, I like the Department of Narino, but you won't find many tourists there except for the carnival of black and white at year end.

If u go to cartagena (where most people go to), u might wanna take a tour around the city (its pretty small but really pretty). theres a place thats called the old city or La ciudad Vieja, and there are really good restaurants. Also, u can go to the beach, which is close to everything in the city because Cartagena is sorta like an island. u can also take a boat and go to these islands that are like1 hour away. they are called Las islas Del Rosario and they are reallyyyyy pretty! there u can go to an aquarium and to the beach

first Bogota go only to the north and the park of the 93 street and technology, good arquitecture and good looking people (white and mestizo) and parties
then Cali only Salsa
then CartAGENA, second Tunja- Boyaca = good food and indians
then Guajira deserts and beaches
then Santa marta more indians (koguis) and wonderful beaches
and Barranquilla and Valledupar only vallenato music
if you want to go to Manizales or medellin is your problem
