Costa Rica has a ton of good spots to visit. Based on what you have seen so far I would suggest Manuel Antonio National Park near Quepos in the Central Pacific. If you want something off the beaten path then try Mal Pais on the Nicoya Peninsula. If you would like to visit the mountains then Monteverde is always a good option.

There are many other spots to check out if you want even more remote destinations.

Cheers,

Again it all depends on what your tastes and objectives are.

I've only been to the Playa Conchal area but it was amazing!! A couple of nice resorts but also very cozy (and extremely friendly) small towns with tiny hotels (Brasilito is a tiny, welcoming town and has an amazing restaurant on the beach with the best food and service in the world). This is a great area for scuba diving and rainforest expeditions. We took a canopy tour and (though I hate heights) it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Costa Rica is hands down the best country I've been to. The "ticos" (locals) are my favorite group of people too. Best of luck and have fun!!!

There are a number of choices. Puerto Viejo in Limon for a quiet, relaxed town and nice beach. A lot of europeans come to visit and stay there for living.
Manuel Antonio Park in Quepos, for a white sand beach and a much complete place, in terms of services.
Isla Tortuga for marine sports. You can go to the Pacuare river for rafting, or Monteverde park for flying over the trees hanging from a rope
