Where is a good place to visit in Latin America? |
I'm an American college student trying to plan a post-graduation trip. I was supposed to participate in a work abroad program, but that was too expensive. For the amount of money I would have to spend, I could have taken several trips. Europe is just so darn expensive to visit, too. I was wondering if there are any good places in Latin America to visit. I've already been to The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, so I was thinking of somewhere else. Brazil sounds nice and sexy. So do Argentina and Chile. I want to know of a good place to visit where I don't have to worry about being kidnapped or mugged; the rates are affordable; the scenery is nice; and the area doesn't smell like an outhouse. A place where I can hook up with some lovely senoritas is a plus, too. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

I would pick Honduras. It is a beautiful republic, located in Central America. It has an extensive coast line with the Caribbean sea. and beautiful bay Islands that sit above the Earth's second largest barrier reef. The landscape, is lush and green and filled with lovely beaches. You can explore raw jungle, cloud forests, and ancient mayan ruins.
Some things that you should know, is that Central America is known to be cheaper than South America. The people of Honduras, are friendly, and the women are beautiful. Honduras is known as the best kept secret of Central America, and for just it's small size ( a little bit bigger than Tennessee), it is packed with so much natural diversity. It is one of the few places where you can see a whale shark. |

Ecuador is absolutely fantastic. It has a little bit of everything all in one country; beautiful beaches, amazing mountains and the amazon jungle. I've traveled there 3 times now, all alone and as a female, so I can tell you its definitely safe. Everything is pretty cheap, including airfare there. The people are friendly, the food is good, and weather is pretty much amazing. |

Rio de Janeiro is the best place you can go. You won't be hijacked o suffer major violence, but you can be mugged if you go to the wrong places, but that's true in any place in the world.
You can find Woman, sum, beach, and respectable night life in the city.
And I'm sure the city don't smell bad. |

You didn't say in that course you is postgraduate. If I was you I would focus my travel already thinking and to learn something for my professional life. I know that his age the amusement seems to be the main focus of the life. It is not. It is very good and also necessary, but if it can be associated to learning is much better. Brazil offers programs of I exchange, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro has studies of high technology that maybe was interesting you to consult. Walk, but learn something with the travel.

colombia has very good looking women and it is quite cheap, it is also incomparable in violence to what it was 10 years ago, violence and kidnappping rates have gone down so much that now actually medellin and bogota are safer than washington dc and houston.
I recommend you going to medellin in summer or somethin...very nice women . although if you go now you could see all the amazing christmas lights they have put up |
