Chile is a great place to live because anywhere you go you're not too far from the ocean. It also has some beautiful architecture, old and modern. In Valparaiso, the city is built on hills, an incredible sight. It is not as touristy as Argentina and Brazil and it is very easy to get from one place to another. Great food and friendly people make it even more enjoyable!

Los Angeles, they say, is pretty nice.

I lived in Panama' for a few years. I learned Spanish by osmosis because lots of people speak English to help the translation. People were easy to get along with. Go there!

colombia, of course, first visit and if you like it live there. the reasons of why its great to live there are:

close to the ocean, different climates, good people, good food, its not that expensive, it has old architecture, good spanish, in colombia there its great billingual schools, beautiful woman, beautiful views, nature parks, etc..., of course there is violence like any other place in the world, but don't criticize without knowing my country. i know you would have a great time there.
