You can surf up and down El Salvador and have a great time just about anywhere you go. El Salvador has some of the best waves in the world (Surf Magazine 2005 - 2007).

My personal favorite is El Tunco. Up the road from world famous El Sunzal, without the huge crowds. There are 3 different zones where you can surf, and it varies from small 2 -4 footers to monster waves if you catch them at the right time.

It is a left break, but it's easy to get used to it.

If you go, stay at Tekuani Kal. Excellent service, great rates ($70 per night, including breakfast) and right on the beach.

Try El Tunco. You won't regret it.

From La Libertad up the coast.
El Zonte, Sunzal, El Tunco to name a few.
Try this website it may help.

There's a place called "El Cuco"
Very beatuiful place. Dolphins like to come real close to the shore, though.

My ♥ Is In The City By The Bay!
Maybe La costa Del Sol or near La Libertad or Acajutla piers.
