I know Guatemala pretty well and anyone there can tell you:
zone 10 (pretty expensive)
zone 13 (cool and very very expensive)
zone 14 (expensive as crazy)
zone 15 (best zone ever but regular people can not enter here)
zone 11 (pretty safe and kind of cheap)
If you are a student maybe zone 11 (near San Carlos University) could be a nice option, if you have enough money you can choose zone 10 or zone 13, if your father is a senator or a big industrial character you can see nice penthouses in zone 14 or zone 13. If Bill Gates is your grandpa you can buy a nice house in zone 15 for maybe 1 million bucks.
