Hi, we are planning a short stay in costa rica over thanks giving. Im looking for beautiful beaches and a relaxing place to stay. Do you have any suggestions where i should stay and any reasonable accomodation?
Also where do you fly into to get there?
Thanks!
I recommend to visit Manuel Antonio, Tortuguero, and Volcan Arenal. There are good and cheap locations there and in La Fortuna you will find a nice place to visit Arenal Volcano. You can visit Guanacaste beaches (all of them are incredible) and fly directly to Daniel Oduber Intl. airport (it depends where you live). I also advise you to visit San Jose downtown (carefully, OK), and go to a coffee plantation trip. Contact me for a cheap place in San Jose (506) 8227288. See you.
Hi. I actually lived in Costa Rica for 2 years on the Pacific Side, Guanacaste Peninsula. You would fly into Liberia Int'l Airport and if you dont mind the traveling, go to Samara or Puerto Carrillo 2 hours away. I lived in Puerto Carrillo for 1 year and the beach is the most beautiful I have ever seen. The town is small but offers nice restuarants, horse-back riding by Luis Angel for $20.00. There is also canopy tours too. You have a variety of places to stay in Samara or Puerto Carrillo for around $30.00-$50.00 American per night. Just ask when you arrive, it is hard to miss them. There are also internet cafe's and you can rent ATV's in Samara. You can either take a car from the airport or go on the bus. I have done both, the bus is an experience! All the locals are very nice and willing to help so dont be afraid to ask. But, you should know a little SPanish to make it easier for you. Good luck and have fun.
