Where to stay in Lima?
My budget is about $30 per night and I would like a funky modern place to eat, preferably with breakfast included.
I am in Lima for three nights en-route to Cajamraca. Would like to do a bit of sightseeing so either close to the sights, or easy transport links would be good.
Also a lone female so I have to take account of that, so the area needs to be safe for lone women.
To have security stay in the Barrio Miraflores. Its a more expensive than central Lima. Central Lima you can get a room with bath and cable tv for $12 dollars Can be a little dodgy at night.. Miraflores is as nice as any place in the world. You want to see the historic sights. You can take a bus or collectivo from Miraflores for 1 sol. 33 cents Here is a popular place in Miraflores to stay http://www.flyingdogperu.com/backcontact.htm

there should be places for about that price but it wont be a hotel that would be a inn or motel in the district of barranco or miraflores you should find some good ones .dont try to walk in to the lima sheratton hotel or the fairmont hotel with 30 bucks,
you may find that the food is delicious and cheap in all of peru
oh and you say Peruvians that is to the other guys.
