Which Peru Consulate to apply for visa from California?
Hi,
I am looking to get a tourist visa to Peru (have an Indian passport) and am not sure where to apply. The website for a location in San Francisco is in Spanish and lists phone numbers that dont get any response. I'd appreciate any information any of you might have on this.
According to the Peruvian ministry of foreign relations, their consulate in San Francisco has the following detais:
Address: 870 Market St. Suite 1067 San Francisco
Phones: (1-415) 3625185, 3627136 and 3625647
It also lists an emergency phone: (1-415) 2156668
and a fax N# (1-415) 3622836
e-mail: consuladoperusanfrancisco@gmail.com
The ministry also lists the LA consulate:
Address: 3450 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 800 Los Angeles
Phones: 1-213) 2525910, 2529795, 2528599, 2528498
It also lists an emergency phone: 1(800) 5463208
and a fax N# (1-213) 2528130
e-mail: conperla@mpowercom.net
I'm enclosing visa requirements data (in spanish and english)
and according to Consular info Indian citizens do need a tourist visa to visit Peru.

Funny to mention but my dad was the peruvian General Consul in San Francisco from 1969-1973.
I found this web site: http://www.consuladoperu.com/losangeles/index_la.htm
Once you are in this page, click "DATOS DEL CONSULADO" (Consulate Data) And a California map will pop-up, for example clik on a southern district and the nearest peruvian consulate for that district information will appear:
Peruvian Consulate in Los Angeles
3450 Wilshire Boulevard Suite 800
Los Angeles California 90010
(213) 252-5910
(213) 252-9795
(213) 252-8130

The current San Francisco phone book shows the Peruvian consulate at 415-362-5185 (870 Market Street, SF.)
www.pacificcoasttravelinfo.com
/californiaconsulates.asp doesn't show any other Peruvian consulates in California.
