Argentina is a reference to silver. I'd go with Chile. That sounds cold to me - and it's the furthest south of the choices, so it would get colder than Bolivia or Brazil.

Bolivia.Final answer. Chile has something to do with the Chiloe culture, argentina is land of silver, so it must be Bolivia. Not Brazil, because as far as i know, brazil doesn't experience cold winters.

Gustavo CL
Argentina is a reference to the roman god of the plate. So it's not Argentina

Brazil is because of the tree called Brazil

Bolivia is a tribute to Simón Bolívar "Libertador de América"

So it may be Chile, but I don't know if there were incas in Chile.

Eri, in South America not nescessarily the souther the colder. South America is very montainous and place at high atittude get colder. La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, is at 3.600m of atittude, so it's one of the coldest places in South America. Quito and Bogotá, capital of Ecuador and Colombia, are very near the Equator but both have an atittude superior to 2.000m, so both have a very nice and warm climate.

You made me curious, so I decided to make a research. In nowhere I found that the name of Chile is "Cold Winter". No one is sure about where the name of Chile comes from, but the most accectable theory is that the name comes from a bird that was named "Chile" by the local indigenous.
