Nicaragua. Its a wonderful country full of culture, and very humble people. The food is delicious, and not expensive for those on a budget.
There are also various places to visit. For example: Corn Island (big & small), Ometepe, Managua, San Juan Del Sur, Leon, all these cities/places are wonderful places for tourist to visit if you crave beautiful scenary.
Nicaragua also has an amazing rainforest wich you just can't pass up. |

Costa Rica - because I've been there and it was such a beautiful country. It probably has the best standard of living overall for a Latin American country (middle class rather than extreme rich and poor.) It has rain forest and mountains and beaches and plains and volcanos - so much to do and see. The white water rafting was unbelievable (4th best class 4 white water river in the world.) The climate agreed with me, even though it rains about 2pm every day, it's not overly humid and just reminds you to take a siesta.
I wanna go back, sigh! |
