Which country do you think has the best dances?

Many dances originate in Latin America, so which countries have the best ones?

It is a difficult question. Every native will say that they have the best dances. Being from Belize I would say that our Punta is the best. However, I would say that Columbia has a wide and friendly variety that most people enjoy trying. Friendly in that you might actually be able to learn it quicker, and practice it at home at a Latin club.

brazil

Mrs. Obama rules!
I would say Peru because:
1. Having 4 natural regions there are typical dances for each region like Marinera, Tondero, Festejo, Huayno, Huaylas, Diablada, etc.
2. Having been conquered by Spaniards, the typical dances fusioned with european ones thus creating interesting mixtures.
3. Being part of the latin america, they have adapted these typical dances to dances such as salsa, merengue, reggeaton, etc.
So in Peru, you can find thousands of differetn typical dances which have been (some of them) kept pure since Inca times and some have evolved due to european influences.

You can't really say "best" when you talk about dancing. Because it changes with your mood. If you want to talk about raw animal passion then Latin is your flavor. But if you want quiet grace then Japanese folk dance will take your breath away. Thinking of having a group of friends get rowdy and just have some fun then Greek is your aim. You get the picture...it's about how you feel not what kind is 'best'. Just like the music you listen to changes from song to song...so will your dance.

I would say Colombia because Colombia has the world Capital of Salsa, CALI. We also have Cumbia, Porros, Vallenatos, Merengues...Colombians are excellent dancers and you can go to the carnival of Barranquilla, the Cali fair and many others that are tipically dances. Colombia is a great country that has many clubs in most of the cities all night...if you dont believe me, go to Colombia...you will love it

Puerto Rico has them. If you like to dance you will enjoy their salsa dance, plenas, boleros (romantic music), pasodobles and danzas (Spanish heritage), as well as raeggeton music, to mention some.
