Colombia. The Spanish is the most clearly spoken in all of SA. You have Cartagena (remember Romancing the Stone and Love in the Time of Cholera) Santa Marta (Ciudad Perdida) Eje Cafetero, Popayan the white city, Villa de Leiva, You can leave Bogota by bus and in two hours in be in the Jungle and stay at the kualamana in Melgar. The women are beautiful the beer 12% and the food is great. What more could you ask for? Argentina is too much like Europe.. |

Colombia and Chile!
I love Colombia because it is so unique! It's people are friendly, and they are always eager to please tourists. Its beaches are beautiful (Parque Tayrona) and its music is hypnotic (Salsa, Champeta and Tropical)
Chile is almost a European country in the Southern Hemisphere! Its rich architecture and customs makes me feel at home. However, I it does get rather 'chilly' lol Chile is definitely worth considering to live and work in.
Chile is also the country with highest standard of living in South America. |

id say bolivia... it is such a beautiful country and has so many unique cities... also land changes so much throughout the country... at one moment your in the amazon jungle, and then the next your in a valley, and then your in the andes mountains... also the food is really good, and the people, for the most part are extremely friendly. |
