ARGENTINA!!! Of course I am bias because my father is from Argentina. But I have been to both countries and both were awesome but I obviously had a stronger connection to the culture and everything in Argentina because of my family. But Uruguayans have a similar accent to the Argentinians and where I went Colonia, Uruguay was so nice. It had cobblestone streets and was beautiful. But Argentina has so many great things-BUENOS AIRES, Iguazu falls, Salta, Bariloche, Cordoba, Mendoza, dulce de leche, submarinos, MATE, milanesa, you go out @ like 12-1am and stay out until 5am!!, crazy shopping, the city never sleeps! I could go on forever-I guess you can see my choice;) Have fun whatever you choose!

Argentina obviously has more land mass and therefor more time is necessary to see it all. Uruguay is compact, yet it packs a punch. You have the big city attractions of Montevideo and the beach towns like La Paloma. You get the gauchos of the interior and the the old world charm of Colonia. You get the gem center in Minias Gerais and the frontier 'mountains' of Artigas. A wealth of experiences in a compact area with wonderful people and all the great same great foods of Argentina. Good luck choosing, they are both amazing and yet each has its limits.
