It all depends on the date and what kind of adventures you are looking for. For example February is a great month to travel to Ecuador because of the celebration we have.
The 12th is the Day of the Amazon (DĂa del Oriente). We celebrate the discovery of the Amazon by Francisco de Orellana; there are Agricultural exhibitions and folkloric parades in the capitals of the provinces of the East. (Tena, Puyo, Macas and Zamora). Plus everything that you can do in the Amazon it will make for a great experience.
The 12th is also the day of the Galapagos Province there will be colored parades and other wonderful festivities at the islands
In the middle of February we have the Week of carnival. In all the country, people celebrate by throwing water to each other. Although the municipal administration of Quito prohibits it, this diversion continues to be practiced every year. Approximately at the same time, in Ambato it is the annual celebration of fruits and flowers. (Fiesta de las Frutas y Flores). This celebration is about colors and beauty with the Fruits and flowers parade as its central attraction.

Ecuador...there is amillion places to go in my country, you nca go to galapagos, at one time you can be in the city and the next you can be in the mountains with snow, and you dont even have to travel far, it's a great experience and I am sure most of the people taht go there dont ever want to come back.
