Well, the reason why all three countries have the same colors in their flags is because they used to be all one "Gran Colombia."
Ecuador established its flag on 1900, Colombia: 1934, and Venezuela: 1811
Therefore, Venezuela officially had it first. |

i don't know as far as legally , but they were one country in the beginning so they shared the same colors its their differences that got claimed but actually the flag the original , without the stars , the shield or the wider yellow it was made by a Colombian for the gran Colombia , so yes Venezuela institutionalized first but the actual colors and the meaning of it it was prior to the 3 countries being separate otherwise how do you explain the blue if it originally means cover by 2 oceans |
