The fact is, Ive been there. A lot. Colombia is a great place, most of the country is safe.. although I would ask locals before going anywhere outside the bigger metro areas. Tons of info on the net. Check out the national parks. Los Katios is awesome. |

its one of the most beautiful countries in the world, friendly people, boredom ceases to exist there. Its enchanting, there are cities that look like they were taken out of fairy tales and theres one particular city thats like the world capital of partying, they know how to party there. Its amazing and youll find things there that you never thought existed. It was dangerous and obviously like any country, it has its dangerous parts but its overall safe. Really beautiful people also.

-colombia has a lot of beautiful traditions specially around christmas time, countries in europe actually buy their decorations a year in advanced because they are so beautiful ..they usually have very big families and are very united. Theres a tradition in christmas to create like a huge hot air balloon without the part you sit in , and they release them into the sky at night and you could see the whole sky iluminated all over the city...
