I went to El Salvador in May with my husband and kids. I LOVED it I miss it right now. I would love to move there some day. I love the food, the weather and the people. I love the chruchs, the beaches everything. I love my husband even much more cause he was born in such a beautiful country. |

I've been 2 el salvador many times. My parents were born there (chalatenango) but I've been to different departments of el salvador. I love it. There's a lot I can say.
The food is great... you have to try Pupusas , try all three of my favorite ones. They have cheese pupusas, revuelta (that's chicharron and cheese mixed or just try chicharron(pork) pupusas) and frijole pupusas are gooood 2.
Forget KFC ( I didn't even know that existed in E.S. until I read the other persons answer) If ur in el salvador, try Pollo Campero. Its really good.
Go to beaches and action parks.
The churches in el salvdor are nice. Even if you don't go to church ( I never do) but its nice to take pictures of the really fancy lookin churches |

i have been to el salvador once for a wedding i thought it was really different but in a kinda neat way. their papusas are really good. i enjoyed it a lot and i didn't think they had KFCs and Pizza Huts, that was cool. All in all i thought it was a very cool and interesting experience. o yeah and i went to the beach and saw a statue of mary out in the water!!!! |
