It could be that you were not admitted to the places where the most beautiful women can be seen. And, could it be that the women you saw wearing clothes that hardly fit them cannot afford to buy new clothes because they are poor? Your question reveals shallowness, ignorance and a narrow mind. Funny, because Costa Rican women are open minded and caring, besides intelligent. Women are the majority in universities and they are ministers, vice-presidents and CEOs. Plus they are beautiful. You didn't see them because they were busy making Costa Rica a better country. Please don't tell anybody you are Costa Rican if you are going to post questions like this one. You embarrass the many Costa Rican women and men that answer questions on Yahoo Answers.

Costa Rica is a country at peace with a very large middle class. Costa Rican Women are educated, sophisticated women with natural grace and beauty. Their warmth and easy going charm make them a winning combination with North American men. People come from all over the world to meet many Costa Rican Women.It all comes down to taste and needs though

It is a good thing we all like something different or all the guys would be fighting over the same women.

You obviously have not seen too many of the women in Costa Rica. I admit there are some homely ones....like in all countries....but I have seen some smokin hot ladies there too.

And as far as being 3rd world country.....that has nothing to do with beauty. I have seen some of the most beatiful women in the world in so-called third world countries.

Your question is as stupid as rude. You say you are Costa Rican and then you insult your own people saying you "want to puke"!!! are you for real? how old are you? Of course in any country you will find beautiful and ugly people, who knows where you have looked in Costa Rica to say that. Costa Rican women are known for their beauty, not only physical, but for their latin charm and intelligence, but i guess you wouldn`t know that.
And if you are so embarrassed to look like a Costa Rican, change your nationality, as you are so proud to say that everybody thinks you are from another country. Grow up!

Not sure where you were looking, but when I go down to CR I find beautiful people (both male and female) around every corner. Maybe you are just judging them on the traditional "american" standard of beauty. Grow up. Even Americans recognize the value of international beauty (even if blonds do have a higher success rate in Hollywood).

if you wanna see beauty people everywhere in Latin americaa. come to VENEZUELA, COLOMBIA, BRAZIL and ARGENTINA.. in mexico the unique people beauty are in the TV.. beacuse anothers looks like INDIJENAS. and the womans has moustache!!!
