I have always thought that Guatemala suffers from bad press. Most people think that the entire country is as bad as Guatemala City, which is not true. I'd bet there is more crime in Miami airport than there is in the whole country of Guatemala, outside of the capital city. It doesn't help when a sting of political leaders gets indicted for crimes against humanity. |

if you would read the news in guatemala you would know that some cops stabbed, shot, and set on fire a car full of people, just because they didn't find any drugs or guns in the car. And thats the police, what do you think everybody else is like. Who's supposed to "protect and serve" now? And then on top of that they were throwin in jail and killed within 30 minutes of being there. That sounds pretty bad to me, so i must be narrow minded huh |

What people are you referring to? You are generalizing too much about this. Why would you think we would even care about which is more dangerous, Tepito Mexico or Guatemala? We have our own problems here thanks to the influx of illegals that come here and do crimes against the US citizens. |
