Because here I finally realized what "NO FEAR" means.
When I see a policeman here I say "Hola como estes?" They smile and answer "Pura Vida" In the states I see a policeman and cringe even though I am guilty of Nothing. People are not intimidated by the gov't. here. People are friendly, with a live and let live attitude and a willingness to help each other with no strings attached.
