i'm latin who live in the US and yes we come here for a "better life" not for freedom!! we are free in our own countries! i think we come here to take a chance because the economies are not so good right know and most of the people who go away are just trying to find a better life not only for themselves but also for their families!!!
also, latinamericans are not the only ones in here, there are people from all over the world who come here looking for a better life!!! |

It's not becoming the largest Latin American nation. The Latin population is growing and it's because America is the "land of opportunity". If you would see where most immigrants come from, you'd probably want to come here too!!! |

1- America, in fact, is a group of many countries or nations: Canada, EU, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, etc... Most of those nations are Latin. So, America holds the biggest amount of Latin people in the world.
2- Therefore, as I stated before in the first reason, Latin people don't come to America. They already live in America.
3- And America, as I stated before in the first reason, is already the biggest Latin American place, and getting bigger...

Because the society in many Latin American countries is completely warped. You have a group of very very wealthy people and then you have a huge group of very very poor people and there basically isn't a middle class at all.
Governments in many Latin American countries are corrupt - making the U.S. seem like cake compared to where they are from. For example, Nicaragua - you have a government that was doing pretty well, and then they had a huge earthquake in 1972 and they found out that many of the foundations on government buildings were actually made of sand. The same can be said of Mexico City in the earthquake of 1984/1985 (can't remember the actual year). The government also runs many of the banks in those countries. So then you have money going right back into the government. And the people who are in charge of he government?? Corrupt rich people.
In Nicaragua alone, when the Sandinistas got into power, they stole land from people who were actually in the middle class. There actually used to be a middle class in that country and people could have their own businesses. But when it all gets taken away from them, what else can they do? They leave to find a place where there is freedom and opportunity. |

Because we are free and surrounded by Latin countries like Cuba Puerto Rico, Mexico, and south America. Two because all races creeds and colors come to America seeking freedom. and third because there is no other place on earth most people would rather be. |

First of all, I don't think you're right, because America is mostly white. But if you're wondering why there are latins here, it's BECAUSE AMERICA IS A FREE COUNTRY! People come here for opportunities and for a better life! In case you haven't heard....many people in Latin countries are in poverty, and all they want for themselves and for their families is a better future. You are just wrong to be mad at people who are trying to better themselves and their families. |
