Why we don´t call the country Peru as simply Turkey?
A guy posted a question before as why it is called Peru and not penis. Is this you again? There is already a country named Turkey. You say something about speaking portuguese, does the word Peru mean turkey in portuguese? What's the connection? Please enlighten us! I cannot understand how you made the connection from Peru to turkey, unless you know of a language game here between two langauages where the sound peru menas turkey in another one!
Plus, there aren't many people from Turkey living in Peru so I keep scratching my head and cannot figure otu the connection!
