If you want cheap try dos playas, centrally located, has an all inclusive option and it's that bad considering. http://www.dosplayas.com , or try tripadvisor.com for reviews and last try a travel agent who may have a sell off for you.

Any of Riu hotel chains are nice. The price varies with the hotel.
Avoid like the plague the inexpensive all inclusive Sun Scape Resort / Hotel south of Can Cun in Puerto Adventerous. Bad water, employees demanding tips or they just won't wait on you or clean your room, employees looted the rooms of all the beer in the refrigerators during a Mexican Holiday while we were there, and lots of deferred maintenance on the building.

You might try Skyauctions.com. I have found some great deals on all inclusive hotels. Most are in mexico and bahamas area.

The Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun is an AMAZING all inclusive hotel! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and surprisingly cheap! I stayed there about 3 years ago and they were updating the pool and surrounding area to make it even better. The staff waited on you hand and foot and made the stay even better. You are close enough to the partying scene if you want, but far enough away to have your own nice vacation. Check it out yourself at www.fiestaamericana.com Have a great time!

My wife and I have been to all-inclusives in the Rivera Maya region many times. We found the Festival Palladium Grande to be an outstanding bargain and the best of all the resorts we visited. We typically go in May and pay around $2300 for both including air, leaving from Philadelphia. You should log into Apple Vacations website and take a look around. You won't go wrong! Rivera Maya is just below Cancun and is near the town of Playa del Carmen.

We stayed at the Riu Cancun - it wasn't nearly as expensive as some others, but it also wasn't the cheapest. We paid $2500 for 2 people, including airfare, in June.

Can't beat the all-inclusive!
