It's much more comfortable drinking and smoking at home. No dirty looks off non-smokers, you can put your feet on the furniture, no dress code, no drunken ar*es knocking your drink over, command over the TV.... ahhh bliss |

Oh well have my 2 cents worth too...
If all smokers quit on July the first I would laugh my **** off! Watching the government trying to fill the huge black hole in the economy. Also I would laugh at all you non smoking whingers when they have to slap 10p in the pound on income tax to fill said black hole! |

Smokers do provide revenue but their bad health costs tons of money for medical care.
I don't mind if you smoke, just don't make me breath it.
I love a cigar once in awhile, but will not light up in ANY enclosed area, only outside!
Peace! |

England is the last of the home nations to ban smoking the rest of us (Celts) have had to quit months ago . but palaces are exempt from the ban . |

Most places that I know are supplying an outdoor area undercover for all you ardent smokers - just think about all the money you will save - either not getting the round in - or on not buying too many ciggies LOL |

I always drink at home - it's much cheaper than going into pubs, plus from 1st July I can smoke and have a can of beer whenever I want. |

thats a thought - if all the smokers boycoted the pubs and supermarkets and did not buy alcohol, even less taxes to pay to the government. |

I dont smoke, but plenty of my mates do. They aren't happy about the smoking ban because alot of them feel its the government trying to tell them what to do. Me personally, I dont have a problem with my mates smoking around me what makes me angry is drunkerds. |

they already have banned smoking in pub and clubs
but as for 1st July as the law state what i understand is that we good honest (french baccy smokers) can still light up while walking the streets but not in crowded places such as shopping centres
but i refuse to stop smoking for the government i like the taste |
