It will be nice in Cancún next week. October isn't the best month to go, but you will have no worries. Don't let all the forecasts scare you, YES it is the rainy season for Cancún, but it will still be beautiful. It never rains that much in Cancún and if it does it is literally only for a few minutes to no more than 30-45 minutes and most of the time the sun is still shinning while it rains out...known as sun showers to us Cancúnians. They put a chance of rain on the forecast because Cancún is by the ocean so the level of humidity is high and can bring a pop up shower, but very rarely happens. You can expect day time temperatures of around 85 degrees Fahrenheit and around 75 degrees at night. It will be pleasant and relaxing. Enjoy your vacation, you will have no worries...Cancún is a blast!!! |

I just got back on saturday & the weatther was a little cloudy & rainy the first 3 days but would clear up by mid afternoon, still leaving a few hours at teh beach or pool. the last couple of days there was absolutly beautiful. you can check the weather but that really didnt do me any good since it said it was going to be thunderstorms the whole week i was there, and it was not even close to weather liek that. pack for summer weather, it definatly gets hot there. Have a GREAT trip, you wont want to return :) |

October is a great time of year and almost any time is great in Cancun, the ocean is still warm and hurricane season is pretty much over. Plus the later in October you go the better chance you have for better weather. While October is the rainiest month of the year it sill only rains on average 8 of the 31 days and most would be in the forward pat of the month vs the end. .
