where were you born?
"mexican" is nationality, not a race. If you were born in the USA you are an american citizen, may be from mexican origins! If you were born in México, then you are mexican (maybe from american or british or spanish or whatever origins!)
I guess you are, actually, what here in México we call "pocho", those guys who are not mexicans (legally) and neither americans ('cause of racism or culture). There are millions of "pochos" (of course, I have many pocho cousins!) |

It depends, what language does your mom speak? If she doesn't speak english and she speaks spanish, then you are either from Spain or Mexico. Do you have passports? If you have a passport it might say where you came from and like on what date, but I'm not sure if it says where you came from. What about your relatives? What language(s) do they speak? You could ask one of them where your from. |
