Any safe places in mexico close the united states? |
i am going to the states in march and was wondering if there were any places were i can take my girlfriend in mexico to stay overnight which is cheap, safe and not more than an hour from the united states border? any help would be appreciated thanks.

From San Diego the best "close" place is Rosarito Beach. It is about 40 minutes from the border via a toll road that you pick up just outside of Tijuana. There are a few nice hotels and great places to eat. Also many bars/nightclubs.
You need to consider how you will get there. If you are visiting the US I assume that you will rent a car. Most, if not all rental companies do not allow you to take the car to Mexico. Be sure to ask ahead of time. It is possible to walk across the border and take a bus or a taxi to Rosarito.

Any place is safe, just depends on your street smarts. I question many places in the states and so would you except you are familar where to go and what to do in the states.
we live in the states as well as in Central America, i feel safer here in Central America these days. |

i dont think so, place close from the border arent that safe, i dont know cause i havent been in all the places around the border, but im sure you can ask a taxi driver and hell tell you some noce places |
