I love CancÃºn. It's amazing in CancÃºn and you will have fun. In my opinion it's the greatest place in the world. I live in CancÃºn now, but I always enjoy riding sea-doos in the Caribbean. You can go parasailing, swim with dolphins. You can visit Xel-ha and/or X-Caret. They are ecological nature parks. There is lots of shopping and you can find some good deals on things. Aqua world maybe something you would like. They have all kinds of activities like sea-doos, submarines, glass bottom boats, etc. Also, snorkeling is a lot of fun and a must do. Lots of golf courses are down there if you like that sort of thing. You can tour the ancient Mayan ruins like Chichen-Itza or Tulum. There is something for everyone and you will find something of interest. My personal favorite is just relaxing on the beach.
It's a great place to visit and everyone is always friendly. Enjoy your time...you will have a blast!!!

i LOVED cancun we went snorkling (a must!) go in the am to see more fish and not so hot out then.. we also went to the myan ruins very fun and we learned alot... the one thing we didn't do that we regret is goin swimmin with the dolphins so if you go def. do that! and of course SHOPPING!!! you always need a couple souviners! anywho the number one thing to know is have fun and relax! ur on vacation. you can hang out by a pool anytime so i perfred hanging out in the ocean and wading in the water. hope this helps and enjoy ur vacation!

Hi, I love Cancun, I have been there 6 times in 2 years and the same resort, Gran Craibe Real. The place is great, the tours to take is Isla Muhares (Bad Spelling). Its a island off Cancun and its a blast... also Do Not Forget about the must do Nightlife. Go out with Your resort to the clubs. They are wild and crazy and i promise you will be talking about it for months after. So forget the tours of the rocks and just party like a rock star!

We will be at the Riu Palace Las Americas from December 3rd-11th. This is our 10th time to Cancun since 2001. Obviously we love it!

I personally prefer to go a bit further off the beaten track. Merida, only a 4hr bus ride, is a wonderful colonial city. Alternatively, hire a car and take the old road to Merida, there are many interesting villages and towns along the way.

Yucatan today (just google it) also has many more great places excursions for the more adventurous.

No offense to Cancun, but you can always go to other similar places in the US. I feel Cancun is kind of an embarrassment to the country of Mexico. My family is from Mexico and that's why i feel this way. Cancun is basically not Mexico, culturally speaking. Cancun is a place where tons of alcohol college students go to get some random diseases from some random person, while having fun. Just my opinion.
