What excursions have you been on that are a must see?
How much did you pay?
Where should I buy - beach vendor, hotel, online prior to arrival?
What are good ones for 5 and 7 yr old....

Anybody who has been to cancun and been to Xel-ha or Xcaret-which one is better? Why?
Being in both. I prefer Xcaret by far. The main reason is that it has far more things to do and enjoy. Xel-Ha is mainly snorkeling, which can be done in Xcaret as well.
The evening show at Xcaret alone is worth the trip.

Xcaret for me is a good choice, there are a lot of activities in the park including snorkeling and many shows during the day like the Mexican charreria and the papanta flyers.
The night show is the best; you will see the ancient Maya ball game very interesting also you will see the Mexican folklore form all the regions of the country.
In this park you can find an aquarium and very rare animals too.
The Mexican buffet if very good.
I highly recommend Xcaret.

I went to Xcaret. What a place. We swam with the dolphins and spend the whole day there. They even had a show in the evening. ABSOLUTE MUST. Dont leave if you havent been to XCARET

I would have to say Xel-ha. Xcaret is nice also but its very easy to get lost in there.

I loved them both but I like Xcaret more because of the animals. But both are wonderful!!

I was at Xcaret in February of this year. It was very expensive approx. $105 US and much like a zoo or park here in the States. The Dolphin rides and snorkeling were extra. Went approx 15 south to Akumal to Yal-ku lagoon, paid $7.00 snorkeled all day, best in the Maya Rivera.
