Anyone Been To Cancun ?

I'm thinking of going there in the summer and have a few questions.

How big is it?
What's the best hotel?
What's good to do there?

Thanks!

Cancun is good-sized, i mean its not like New York City but its pretty average

The best hotel is the VCI, or the Royal Sands Resort.

We R going there tomorrow and were going zip lining, snorkeling and this thing where you are in a plastic hamster wheel and run around on the water, there's a ton to dooo!!! Like the hotel has tons of stuff they can tell you about or reserve for you or plan, its a ton.

Also don't go during July you will ROAST!!!!

Click the first link for a hotel map of Cancun. The hotel zone of Cancun is shaped like the number 7 with the top of the 7 connecting to the older original town of Cancun and the bottom of the 7 ending at the Cancun Airport.
Click the second link to read reviews and compare prices of 164 Cancun hotels ranked in order of popularity. Then click the "Things to Do" link on the left side of that page to see a list of 87 things to do ranked in order of popularity.
My favorites:
Take the tour over to Chichen Itza (see what it looks like in the third link).
Go to Selvatica Canopy Expedition and Adventure Tour (forth link).
Take the tour south to Tulum and Xel-ha (fifth link).
Go to Xcaret (sixth link).

We go every year and stay at the Omni, they have great deals.Do not get all inclusive as there are many great restaurants around. Go to Margaritaville, my favorite.Aquaworld has many activities. Go to trip advisor to get more details!

If you are going to Cancun you shouldn't miss going to Isla Mujeres.
Take the ferry, rent a golf cart, go to the beach, visit the very colorful cemetery while you are there. I go there every time I go to Cancun.
Have a good time.

Hey, I'm planning to go there this summer too. Cancun from what I've heard is great, not that big, but average size for a Caribbean city. People say that the best hotels are at the Hotel Zone, but I will stay at a hotel downtown, that is closer to stores, restaurants etc.

I have a question 2: How many days you guys recommend to stay in Cancun. Just enough days to get a nice tan, check nice stuff etc? Would 4 days be enough?

Thanks
