The nightlife in CancÃºn is insane and a wild time. CancÃºn offers the best nightlife in the world. It's a all night party that goes until 6 in the morning. Generally, yes it's almost like an Ibiza type atmosphere. CancÃºn is very Americanized so yes, it's basically the American Ibiza. The only thing though is that January is a slower month of tourism for CancÃºn so it won't be as crowded as the summer months. Another thing is the tourism rate in CancÃºn is down right now due to the poor economy and spring break is in a few months so most people are waiting to go then so, January won't be as crowded as compared to other months in CancÃºn.

if you are staying in a hotel, they will be glad to help you! just ask. depending where you are staying, you have grand choices. there are clubs where you pay an entrance fee and drink whatever you want all night. there are americanized clubs if that's what you are looking for. there are great hispanic oriented clubs if you actually want a true culture experience. if you are staying at a nice hotel, they always offer tour guides which is the safest way to go!

I've just gotten back from there. Even though it's the quiet season the clubs still get really really busy. The clubs there are amazing, most of them are the best I've ever been to.

It's not really the type of place you can go bar hopping and then onto a club, because the clubs are quite expensive to get in and the single drinks are expensive to buy. Though you pay a set amount into a club and all the drinks are free, so most people go straight from the hotel to a night club.

Most hotels take you to a different club every night, usually on the best night to go there. It's worth going with the hotel because you get a table and a waiter to bring you drinks and shots all night.

Certain clubs have theme nights. Like 1 day a week they'll have a Mardi Gras themed night or a beach party where they have a bikini competition, where they get girls to dance about on stage in a bikini and whoever gets the most cheers wins a prize. I entered a competition in a club called Bulldog, which is my favourite club in cancun.

Most of the clubs have shows on too. Coco Bongo's the best one for the show because they do clips from different movies where they act it out or sing a song from the movie dressed up as the charactors. Or dress up as a singer to sing some songs from them. There's people swinging about on trapezes above your head and acrobats and things while you're dancing about in a club. A lot of other clubs have fire breathers on, acrobats and pole dancers, but ones that do amazing thing with the pole like climb up it just using their hands.

The clubs over there play lots of different kinds of music. Mostly English. They usually play a certain type of music for a few hours, then change to another kind.
