me and my family want to go to cancun this summer. we looked for some resorts but all the ones we found we either too expensive or trashy. we are looking for an affordible resort but we want on that looks almost brand new. PLEASE HELP |

This one is hard to answer without knowing your budget. There are several good family resorts with some reasonable prices. Without knowing what you consider "trashy", it is hard to answer this. My favorites: Gran Caribe Real, Avalon Grand, Flamingo, RIU Cancun and RIU Caribe. Barcelo Tucancun, Royal Solaris, and Gran Royal Solaris are also good resorts. These usually have the best prices of the mid-range resorts. If you would like to e-mail me at sunsationvacations@yahoo.com..I would be glad to look some up for you. check www.tripadvisor .com. Remember, summer is hurricane season down there. So always buy trip insurance, and keep an eye on The weather channel about five days out.
also summer is the cheapest time to go there, if you wait till closer to the time, you can get some great deals anywhere in the Hurricane alley |
