Of course, like everywhere else.
Tijuana is filled with young people and a lot of Universities, and one of the main problems is that there are not enough schools for all the people.

Plenty of computer nerds in Baja Norte. New Internet cafes opening up all the time. Kids in middle school have a homework assignment that requires them to be computer literate. Mexico is a growing economy with lots of jobs in the tech field available. Tijuana is a busy business center.

Aren't they everywhere?

Hi,
Like any-other place on this earth TJ is no different. Nerds are present in and around TJ. Just look for the Internet Cafes and coffee shops and you'll find them with their Wi-Fi set-ups on-line for hours on end. Nerds are a necessary part of Society so we all need to get used to it.
Thanks,
