The trouble you can get into doing that is a lot worse than the trouble you can get into having a buddy buy booze for you back home. One thing you might think about is that liqure is flamable. If you take that on a plane and someone sees it your an instant terrorist and could get some serious trouble from it. |

Not worth the risk. What if it spills in your luggage? You will not be allowed any drinks past the security check. |

Actually, you are allowed to bring in certain amounts of alchohol and or cigarettes from another country. I brought back two big bottles of tequilla from Mexico when I was there in November. Just check with the airport to find out how much you can take back with you before you leave. However being 16 they may not let you since the legal drinking age is 21 in the U.S. If you have a person of age with you let them bring it back. Good luck! |

Dude, don't do it! LOL! Getting fine will be the least of it...
1.) It's illegal to drink/carry alcohol in Mexico under the age of 18.
2.) It's a crime/felony/misdimeanor (whatever you want to call it) to not declare such goods and/or smuggle them; especially at an airport/custom's officer.
3.) It's illegal to drink/carry alcohol in the USA under the age of 21.
... And on top of this, you'll still miss your flight!! Just don't do it, it's not worth it. Instead, head out to south Boston when you get back home and I'm sure you'll find some catz who will purchase it for you... =OD |

well when ever I drive down to TIJUANA I always bring one bottle of TEQUILA and the officer never takes it away last time I asked them you can bring back up to one liter of alcohol |

If it's not carry on, you should be fine leaving it in the original bottle... just as long as it has not been opened |
