CLothing Optional Beaches ? |
Do you think all beaches in the USA should be made clothing optional? I went to a foreign beach where people don't care what others wear or don't wear. Nobody had a bug up their butts, the way some americans do about nudity or speedos or tiny bikinis etc. It was a true live and let live kind of place. So, do you think we should just let people take it off to swim in the states? Its a lot easier to swim without clothes and once you see a few naked people you get over it. ( When a really hot naked chick walked by my friend and I, he looked at me and said "Wow, how'd you like to see her in a sweater?")

Nudity is very overrated here in the U.S. when really its the most natural state anyone could be in so I think all the beaches should be clothing optional. |

Many, many people in this country are offended by nudity; it is generally considered sexual and inappropriate. Making all beaches clothing optional would enrage an overwhelming majority of the population. While there is considerable support for having *some* clothing optional beaches, most Americans want to know that they have the option of going to a beach where nudity isn't permitted.
I'm lucky enough to live in an area of California with plenty of clothing optional beaches in addition to countless conventional, "textile" beaches. Unfortunately, virtually none of these beaches are so labeled or very widely known as clothing optional, and when suited families walk by and see us sunbathing nude or playing naked frisbee they often get upset.
The best solution is to have well marked, mutually understood areas and beaches for both suited and clothing optional beachgoers. |

You silly boys are assuming that all the women would look like models. Do you really want to see a bunch of senior citizens or overweight folks bouncing down the beach? I agree that there should be clothing optional areas but be careful what your wish for. |
