yeah, you just need a notification from your parents and need to make sure that somebody will pick you up at the airport. i traveled to guadalajara when i was 11 with my brother who was 9 at the time. and after a month we came back to san francisco. |

Yes, you can travel alone almost anywhere in the world with your parents formal written and verified permission. |

Not a good idea. You can't get medical care, or even book a hotel room if you are underage. |

just be mindful of whats going on around you at all times,travel by auto bus as they call them after you get off the plane,or if your taking a bus all the way use one that says premier / gold and black color they have two drivers on board on each trip just for safety and most are newer buses,TV to watch too, keep around fifty dollars in your front pocket on one side for spending money, and put your wallet in the front pocket on the other side just so it stays with you, please don't flash your cash in front of people, keep a low profile and keep safe don't dress to fancy just jeans and plain shirts, this may help keep you from being a target but it will not remove all possibilities of being one, remember American law can't and will not help you their so don't mislead yourself about that, if you are a girl going alone, you are asking for trouble, i hope you are very street wise because you will need it, i lived around Guadalajara for 3 years and back an forth to Mexico city alot, not a safe place for kids i promise you ,people living in Mexico city fear the police more than the drug gangs, I'm married to a girl from Mexico city so i know whats up, the DEVIL is alive and doing well in Mexico city. |
