Absolutely NOT. There is a big sign on Interstate 5 just north of the border that says NO GUNS IN MEXICO. According to the Mexican Federal Judicial Police, that includes BB guns. Paintball guns are legal, but even that can be dicey sometimes.

No it's not illegal to take a bb gun across the border but let them know when crossing.

Guns are a no no even for pilots and that is standard equipment for many small planes, if caught they go to jail. So someone else that gets caught with one will go and they might not distinguish between the kind.
But, hay you might like their jail, and your parents will love spending thousands getting you out.
