I would really, really doubt it. It's illegal to take guns into Mexico. I think the penalties are pretty severe- a person could wind up in a Mexican jail. I don't think it would be smart to even take a BB gun. I would steer way clear of that; I think it would be a very risky path to go down. Don't. |

Ask the nearest Mexican Consulate. They will tell you what you need to know.
My guess would be that you cannot bring bb guns into Mexico. Don't take the chance by not asking. Once in Mexico, US law does not protect you, and you could get arrested and charged with contraband offenses. Even if they only confiscate it, you won't be able to get it back.
Before you say to yourself that it's not really a weapon, consider this. In New Jersey, a bb gun is classified as a firearm, and is subject to the same regulations as such. And people can be, and sometimes are, charged with felony firearms offenses for shooting a bb gun in their back yards. |
