Can you drink the bottled water in Mexico?

and if not, can you bring your own into the country, and if not, what can you drink?

Off course!!
But if you are concerned, buy it from known brands, it will be more expensive, but you will have peace of mind.
Most of the 5 star resorts have their own purified water system, and you do can drink from the tap.
Municipal water it is also purified, but taste to much chlorine, that's why we buy bottled water.
Most of Americans blame the water, but the reason the may get seek is because they are exposed to different bacteria that they are used to. It can happen when you travel to a different city even in your own country.
The ice cubes are also made from purified water.
Just be safe, don't worry, enjoy your vacations.

yes, it is safe, but look out for known brands as Bonafont or Santa Maria. Others might not be as safe...

You can find Evian water if thet makes you feel more confortable. It's sold in every convenience store or supermarket. You'll also find waters from companies like Danon, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and so on.
There are most of the soft drinks you can find in the states, including sodas (pops), nestea, arizona teas, starbucks coffe, hershey's... You'l find about everything you like to drink at home unless, of course, you're traveling to a camping zone in the nonexplored beaches or little towns, there you'll only find coca-cola nad beer.

lpaganus
Absolutely. USA is first and Mexico is second in the world of bottled water consumers. Japan a close third. I think Nestle SA produces it or maybe Coca Cola/ Huge indsutry. And then there's always beer.

mangomanocr
