Can you go for a holiday in Mexico if you have a criminal record for mostly driving offences?

I don't see why you can't, but you may get detained when you return. The Mexican Border does not check that but the American side will if they suspect something. Otherwise, they just wave you right through. If you are flying, don't worry about it. Just get your passport and your birth certificate and you are going to have a great holiday.

If they're all misdemeanors or less I am sure you have nothing to worry about. Anything more check with a travel agent, they can give you more specific information.

Sure, Mexico loves criminals(not that I'm calling you one), so you'll be fine. After all they like to let our criminals take refuge them there so when the "Dog" bounty hunts them they can call him a criminal and whine to America about extradition.

You have the right to travel as long as you have the proper documentation. If your travel is not committing any type of Parole violations you should dbe fine.

Driving offences don't qualify as felonies, so you are fine!!

Don't u worry about it .......I use to live in Cabo San Lucas .......believe me ,no one will check ur record

ALEX ROCKS
IN MEXICO THE DON'T CHECK DRIVING RECORDS OVER THERE. BESIDES, YOU WILL MOSTLLY DRIVE BETTER THAN SOME WHO DRIVE WORSE.
IN MEXICO, YOU JUST PAY FOR THE LICENSE AND NOT TAKE A EXAM. SO IMAGINE THAT.
JUST TAKE EXTRA CARE, GET MEXICAN INSURANCE AND CRUISE ON DOWN.
HAVE A GREAT TIME AND HOLIDAY!!!!!!

It's the easiest place in the world to enter and without documents or passports. I first flew here without even a passport from US and have come here twice by bus without a Tourist Visa even though that's meant be mandatary. I've been in and out as a passeger of a car without having to show any identification of any kind. Just recently had to go to border to renew my tourist visa and re-entered through US checkpoint with only expired tourist visa. So who is going to check your record? They will pounce on you if by mistake or design you try to enter with a gun or ammunition.

no n
why not, you most likely wont be able to rent a car
