I stayed at the Bahia Principe in Riviera Maya and it was awesome!! There was food available 24/7. The buffets were huge and there was tequila everywhere. The rooms were very upscale and each had a free mini bar in it. The staff was very friendly. You can take a bus or taxi to Playa del Carmen which is a little town. From there you can catch the ferry to Cozumel if you wanted to dive or snorkel. There was entertainment provided at night. It was a very relaxing place to stay. I loved it! |

The Radisson in IXTAPA ZIHUATANEJO. Ixtapa is a smaller beach resort town on the Pacific Coast. Its really nice, its like jungle there. Good size waves but not too rough. I stayed at the All inclusive, their pool bar is solid. Have fun....
There are several resorts in Puerto Vallarta that are great too. i guess it just depends what size of resort you want to go to, I know a small all inclusive resort in a town called San Francisco, Nayarit. Its called Costa Azul, you have to fly into Puerto Vallarta and take a buss, limo or rent a car one hour north.

Cozumel - but get away from the main spring break type area, there are great beach resorts. |

Puerto Vallarta is awesome if you want to go non commerical (compared to other places). Water is not as blue though but Yelapa (island off PV) is good to escape. |

I hear that Tijuana is a nice/popular place to visit. My oldest Daughter has been there a time or two. Make sure that you come prepared as you will be in a different country with different traditions & laws. Have appropriate ID's, aquaint yourself with the laws of the land & it wouldn't hurt to learn some Spanish along with taking a Spanish-English - English-Spanish Dictionario with you. |
