As others have said no, but if you get there at the right time of day you can go inside the pyramid of Kulkukan (El Castillo) and see a Jaguar thrown and a Chac Mol from an earlier pyramid. There's a picture of both on the sites below:

I'll look round and see if I can find the hours but I believe it's only for a couple of hours everyday.

Edit:

I found one site that said this regarding the hours:

"The stairway is open from 11am to 3pm and is cramped, usually crowded, humid, and uncomfortable - not for those with claustrophobia. A visit early in the day is best. Photos of the jaguar figure are not allowed."

The entire article is here:

No. The Mexican government has roped all these Maya artifacts off in an attempt to prevent further deterioration.

When we were there in 2002 everthing was roped off in hopes to help preserve the ruins.

I was there in march of 2006 and they had it blocked off. Our tour guide said that this was done to protect it.

i think they stopped people from doing that a few years ago, it was causing too much damage.

No, they opened them a few months back for the new 7 wonders campaign, but they are deteriorated both because of man, and weather, so they are trying to keep them in good condition.
But it is still a beautiful place to visit, many things in the archaeological ruins, not just the big palace.

yes, we did it 3 years ago . wonderful.
