I will be going to Mexico, and would like to purchase a Walmart gift card to give to someone there. Can I buy it in the U.S. for use in Mexico?

Sorry girl but no. Besides Walmart is different in Mexico than in USA. In mexico is a grosseries store, yes you can find some of the things they have in USA. You can get one in Mexico.
The reason is that the one you buy is in dollars, and in Mexico the current coin is Peso. |

You can buy one at Walmart in Mexico...and walmart in Mexico IS the same as in the states..most have a grocery section and a general merchandise section. |

there are better shops in mexico, once you get here, why don't you buy at the local www.liverpool.com.mx or "fabricas de francia" shops some gift cards. They accept visa and mastercard.
or you can buy the card here in mexico at the local wal-mart. |
