Drugs have been around the world for several centuries, but unfortunately from the 60's drugs have been not just for religious purposes, as they used to be in the past, they became a way to get out from reality. Why was that?, well, letâ€™s pretend that we are 17 or 18, and from your country, they decide to send you to fight a war that is not yours, you have to kill a lot of people justifying that you are helping others, ok. But what if those others donâ€™t need your help, what if there are some other interests?, How to keep the spirits up?, How can you get out from that awful reality?
And from those times, drugs have been a way ( the wrong one ) to get out from reality, whichever it is, because those people are not able to face it. Reality is too much for those people, people that has no background culture, no family values; people that only cares about material things.
So, who got the guilt?, consumers?, producers?, dealers? I think all of them have their own part from this situation, but the origin of all this is that people lose the ancient moral values, and Iâ€™m not talking about any religion, just simple morality values that came from family.
So, if the family is together and teach their children how to face problems, how to work together, and how to have respect to other people, then we will be able to get rid from any kind of drugs, because we will be able to face our reality with the confidence that we will have our family backing us up.

The war on drugs will never prevail. In the most ancient CityÂ´s on the planet going back 5,000 years there is evidence of drug use and consumption. We would all be better off if the USA legalized the drugs, taxed and controlled them. Put the revenue into educating kids on the danger of drug addiction and the consequences. Before around 1928 in the USA most all drugs were legal, even herion. To eliminate the black market is the only way to eliminate the problems.

Nancy Regans "just say no ! " policy went over like a box of rocks. USA's billions of dollars spent on trying to stop the flow has not worked.

actually DOES something to stop the flow. We realized long ago a smoke screen when we see it.
We are at a standstill.........
Mexico asked for $$$$ for the fight not long ago. We said we will purchase what you need for the fight but handing over cash, not today!

Mikey say's legalizing category 1 narcotics would make a great dent in drug profitability and create enormous tax revenus along with a few jobs. Corrupt Mexicans that want to run for office would fade away. This will take one generation..............Sure they will still surpress the masses but on a smaller scale.
Eventually maybe in the short future the USA will see a change in the Mexican gov't , and form a better international bond.
The problem is two fold and is equally shared by both. The solution is as well.

Since the US provides the majority of the customers for Mexican narcotics, it would be a very good idea to work together.

Um, why do we, the USA, always have to help other countries! Do something once for your own country and take responsibility. Even if you have to die, take down all those corrupt officials and presidents in your country, the people of Mexico outnumber them, so overthrow them. A US Citizen, parents Mexican & Cuban. Peace
