Of course!
It depends a lot on what parts of Mexico you are planning to go to. Mexico is a very diverse country.
The coasts of Mexico have beautiful beaches.
The southern part of Mexico has interesting archaeological sites.
The capital, Mexico City, is a very cosmopolitan city with many, many things to do.
I think you'll have a great time.

I am a big fan of Cozumel. It was great and I want to go back as soon as possible.

Depends where you're going- Cozumel and Playa del Carmen are great on the Gulf Coast, and Cabo San Lucas is great for the west coast. But do yourself a favor, book with an American owned hotel if you can. It makes a huge difference.

Mexico is an AWESOME place to vacation. Except for last year, I've gone every year for about 10. The west coast is drier, but has less archaelogical stuff. Great fishing off Cabo and lots of partying. when I just want to blow off steam, eat, drink, shop & fish... Cabo is the place. When I want to relax and unwind, I go to Cozumel. Great snorkeling, easy travel to Mayan ruins, relaxed atmosphere & good fishing (not as good as Cabo). Cozumel is also MUCH less expensive.

I love Cabo more, but there is more to do in Cozumel.

Modern Mexico is newly created as a prime tourist destination. Cozumel and Cancun are tourist hot spots on the East coast, Baja California Norte's coast is dotted with new hotels and restaurants especially for American and Canadian tourists. Great shopping in Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada on the Pacific Coast. Cabo San Lucas in the southern Baja state is a prime sportsfishing location. Lots of things to see and do. Central Mexico is very old with many cultural centers, churches, museums, reflecting centuries of European occupation. Don't miss a chance to go. Bien Viaje.

Though I know not of this Mexico you speak, if it is a vacation you desire then I must comply forthwith my own suggestion. Why not travel to Yi? Come for the gorgeous mountain view, stay for the civil liberties. Now I know what you are thinking. "Yizhou, that's all the way across the world,". Fear not however, I assure you that with a good pace you can arrive by horse from Luo Yang in as little as thirty days. And you won't have to worry about the return trip, for everyone who sees the wondrous city of Cheng Du is inclined to stay forever.

COZUMEL definitely. Been there twice. If you don't like huge crowds of people and get around easily and see the Mayan ruins.......this is a great place. Very friendly people and your buck goes a long way.
