I'll ask my brother, he knows everything.
He said you don't but don't drink the water. |

No but if you're flying you'll need a passport to get back into the US. |

Usually you don't but it would be best to ask your doctor since they know your medical history better than we do. |

No, but it helps if you have the yellow fever vaccine just in case. they dont ask you for any inyection but just play it safe and eat and drink from places you know are hygienic. Bring lots of Peptobismol, you;ll need it!! |

The jabs thing is b*llocks. All GP surgeries will tell you to have jabs when you do inter-continental flights, but it is really NOT necessary...
My partner is English, we go all the time and nothing has happened to him, ever, believe me, you're not going to suffer.
Though I would take everybody's advice to be careful with the water, only drink bottled water and avoid ice, unless you know you are on a GOOD restaurant or hotel. |

Nope. Just watch out for the water and decline ice in your beverages. |

You dont need injections, just drink bottled water only. In Mexico the faucet water is not purfied to be drank like here in USA. And if you are propense to get stomac sick, just stick with restaurant food, skip the street vendors. |

No, you should be OK! Unless you are planning to go exploring in the deserts, forests or jungles, you'll be fine. The only reason you would then need immunisation would be if you couldn't get to a hospital facility quickly. If that was the case, then you would probably have antimalaria vaccinations. If you are unsure, you can call the nurse at your doctor's surgery or contact your local travel surgery. |

Hi,went to Cancun 2 years ago, the travel brochure stated injections not required and we followed that advice. If you are staying in the hotel zone then it is very clean 3* is more like 5* and all very hygenic, We even drank the water and I enjoyed crushed ice in my pina colado all day long!!!. Enjoy it, it is relaxing with beautiful beaches and a gorgeous blue carribean sea! |

Oh my God, I've never heard of that one before. I don't think so but perhaps you want to check with your doctor so you can be comfortable. |

Seems everyone has the same answer for you and I concur no injections needed however if your tetanus shots are not up to date you might want to think about that...whether you stay at home or travel to Cancun.
Hope you have a great trip. |

I'm going in July and had to get my jags yesterday.
For typhoid fever and Hepatitis A
You need them flying from UK as they check at the airport
Fill in a travel form at your doctors surgery and he will tell you whats needed. |
