a sombrero is a hat in spannish, and yes a lot of them do

ranger_co_1_75
Just like anyplace, lots of people wear Sombreros in Mexico. Mostly base ball caps.
If you mean the big tall and wide brim hat then the answer is no.

...and Americans, Canadians, French, Brits, etc. Kind of a silly question.

yeah....like everyone else said...a sombrero is just a hat in spanish. i guess if you are a "hat guy" then you wear a hat. if you are a cowboy, then you wear a cowboy hat. i've never seen anyone wear a "sombrero" like you are describing, except at a club when it was their birthday and they were taking a shot.

no ,that's a stupid question, and by the way sombrero refers to all hats not only to that classical you think everybody in Mexico wears

Saw some in Santa Clara del Cobre. They were using them to carry loaves of bread on Sunday morning. Didn't see them elsewhere, though. Saw just the regular hats that people wear (baseball caps, etc.).

lialove_18
I'm not mexican, but thats one stupid question......

Ja R
If you mean the big, pointy ones, then no because those are only tourist things
