yes they do. Just make sure you have international calling. Call verizon and they can tell u if you have it on your phone. My worked fine when I was done there. Have fun!!

if you're gonna stay at least a month I suggest you to switch to a North America calling plan. It'll be cheaper ;)

I don't know about Verizon, but some cell companies will give you an international plan for a month, and then the cost per minute varies by country. We had our Cingular phones in Cancun and it cost $5.95 for the month for the plan, and then calls to the US were $.10 a minute. It was a better deal than the phone cards they sell there.
